Vision Residency, Ars Nova, 2022 Radical Acts Festival, JACK, 2021

An experimental cabaret in the shadow of Covid. We take turns talking shit and engaging in performative self- care routines. Ranting about the state of the world while stair-stepping. Petting a robot dog to self-soothe until we can’t take it anymore. Laying in chaise lounge chairs while listening to a restorative meditation led by Oprah. Ultimately an earnest attempt to break us out of the endless monotony of a life stuck in our apartments, and to make some kind of contact again with each other. Performed with Alexander Paris at Ars Nova as part of The Vision Residency. First performed at JACK as part of the Radical Acts Festival 2021.
